How much is fluconazole over the counter?
Branded fluconazole, for example, the Canesten Thrush capsule is probably the most expensive choice, which can be sold for as much as £10+ per capsule. With the fluconazole 150mg capsule costing less than £1 (wholesalers price), it is hard to justify the price of the Canesten Thrush Capsule.
Supermarkets and independent pharmacies may offer their brands or generic fluconazole capsules for thrush at a more reasonable price, most likely in the range of £5-£8 per capsule.
Is fluconazole 150mg capsule the best treatment choice for thrush?
